UpLink Freshwater challenge

bNovate won the global Freshwater challenge in January 2023, organised by UpLink - World Economic Forum (WEF) and HCL Enterprise.
A true recognition of the innovative BactoSense for its potential to improve access to safe water, anytime, anywhere.

In 2022, bNovate became member of Sustainable Switzerland – an initiative that includes leading partners from business and science. It is an honour to work with other strong companies to contribute to an innovative, sustainable and digital Swiss economy.

Drinking water is essential for the health and well-being of all people and safe water a priority for many countries. bNovate is committed to supporting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal #6 by developing solutions for safer water management and better protection of natural resources.

In 2021, bNovate received the prestigious Solar Impulse label for the BactoSense solution.
The Solar Impulse Efficient Solution Label is designed to shed light on solutions that are both clean and profitable and have a positive impact on the world.

In 2022, bNovate received support by the Technology Fund, a growth-related loan guarantee from the Climate Division of the Federal Office for the Environment (BAFU). This program applies to scale-ups that reduce greenhouse gas emissions and help preserve precious natural resources, like water.

The BactoSense has been nominated for the Green Business award 2022, which is organized by Green Business Switzerland, and honors the most innovative Swiss companies that combine economic success with ecological impact.

Transforming our World

We are proud to support the United Nations’ plan “Transforming our World: the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development”. Not only SDG 6 for clean water and sanitation is of great concern to us, we also care for the sustainable development goals 9, 11, 12 and 13.
